National Federation of the Blind
Baltimore, Maryland

The National Federation of the Blind facility in Baltimore had a challenge. They had an area that was on three different levels and consisted of 26 different rooms. This area was served by a myriad of packaged units, split systems and fan coil units. The Federation wanted to update this area with a single new HVAC system that was simple to operate, had individual room temperature control, was energy efficient, and could be installed easily into their 100 year old building. After hearing their challenges and goals, Blue Dot submitted their recommendations, and started work immediately. The executives at the Federation were very happy with the end result, and are now experiencing significant energy savings with their new system.

“We wanted to update an area in our building with a new HVAC system that was simple to operate, had individual room control, was energy efficient and could be installed easily into our 100 year old building. Blue Dot came to the rescue and accepted our challenge. They came up with a simple, cost effective solution and earned the highest possible marks for their performance on this project in our eyes.”
